WHEW this in-studio birthday portrait session with my good friend, Nicole was such a blast! Nicole is a loyal Real Estate client of mine, so when she reached out to schedule a special birthday shoot, I was immediately excited. Anyone who knows me or my work is aware of just how much I like to go all out for birthdays. I told Nicole to bring her A-game and boyyy, did she ever!
This session is in honor of her 43rd birthday; a truly special numerical year. In numerology, 43 is the number of personal change, growth, and reflection. With that in mind, I would predict that Nicole will truly find herself blooming this year in more ways than one. Coming home to yourself is an opportunity to be relished and a time to be preserved. What better way to kick off this transformation than documenting the excitement and zest for life that you already have!?

Nicole brought every square-inch of her vibrant personality (and wardrobe!!) to this birthday shoot. We decided to go with simple and eye-catching backdrops mixed with celebratory props to keep the vibe fun and all eyes on her! If you love her first outfit, just you wait…
BAM! Look at this gorgeous combination of teal, hot pink, and white! I absolutely LOOOOVED this look on Nicole and all the confidence she exuded while wearing it! And those heels… you stop it right now. If I look and FEEL like this at 43, I’ll be more than pleased!
We had so much fun laughing and playing around with all my different studio setups! I truly cannot pick a favorite, because she rocked them all, but the bathtub is in the running for first place. My love for contrasty colors gets me every time. I think the photo of her laughing deserves a frame somewhere forever in her home; THAT’S what 43 should feel like.
This one-shoulder moment was everythinggggg! I call this look “The Grand Finale”! We popped a little bubbly, threw some confetti and brought the balloons back for one final HOORAH and they turned out to be some of the best from the day!

I can’t express how much I always enjoy our time together – your energy and passion for life are absolutely contagious.
