Holly M. | Boudoir

Celebrating the start of year TWO in my studio feels like a surreal accomplishment. Ohh, what past ‘me’ would have done if she knew she’d be creating out of this gorgeous space one day. While I’ve predominately dedicated past blogs to my wedding couples, I’m excited to start sharing more of my in-studio work with you all, moving forward. The truth is, this studio has become a second home to me, and it has allowed me to produce hundreds of breathtaking photo galleries.

Boudoir photography has been my absolute favorite way to create with my camera since the beginning. The good ol’ days of swapping out my dining room furniture for an air mattress are finally gone, but my heart still beats twice as fast when I’m setting up for these sessions. Boudoir is real. It’s raw. It’s vulnerable. And I feel that it’s the most important work I do. The women of our world deserve to feel beautiful. They deserve to treat themselves. They are worthy of knowing how sexy feels. This will always be my message, forever more.

Playing with my friend, Holly in the studio felt like a dream I didn’t want to wake up from. Her angelic face and rockin’ body has graced the pages of many other local photographer’s portfolios, so I felt extremely blessed when she agreed to give me a day of her time in front of my lens. With her permission to share, I’m excited to show off some of my favorite boudoir images to date!

I love to play around with different positions and angles during boudoir sessions. Variety and movement are key. Tell me Holly didn’t rock these poses right out the gate!!!

Drooling for this contrast!! Switching from an all-white setup and wardrobe to all-black setup and wardrobe was a whole vibe. It’s giving naughty vs nice.

A little rainbow action never hurt anyone, and neither did a pair of classic, ripped jeans! I loved how much diversity Holly brought to the table with her posing and wardrobe selections. The more looks you bring with you, the more options we have to work with! I can’t even pick a favorite!!
