I am only a few months behind on this blog post, no biggie! If you read my previous blog you’ll understand there was substantial reasoning for that, but in any case, I am so excited to share more on this shoot – It was a photographers dream and I was absolutely thrilled to be apart of it!
Let’s talk about this venue – BRIDES, if you’re searching for the perfect venue, you’ve got to go check out Waverly Estate in Lunenburg, VA. It is nothing short of a fairytale… It has this super charming vibe to it! Whether you’ve got a rustic style, or you are envisioning something more traditional, you’ve got the opportunity to have your dream wedding there and for it to encompass all that you are looking for. It is truly such a gorgeous place!
The day was beautiful! We started in the bridal suite which was such a stunning place to photograph Jordan getting ready. The nerves and excitement during the moments the bride and groom gets ready for the most anticipated day of their life are one of the most fulfilling times as a photographer. They are filled with such joy and excitement! The discussions, nerves, smiles and laughter… the whole experience is so sentimental and fun! Jordan was a breathtakingly beautiful bride!
The details of the day added so many perfect touches to this set up — it all came together seamlessly. If you ask me, this wedding deserves to be front page of every bridal magazine. Every detail was beautifully crafted by an top notch group of talented vendors!
Sweet Fix crafted a remarkable cake – There isn’t a way to put how amazing this cake was into words – so intricately designed. She is SO talented, and super fun to work with! I was honored to participate in this shoot and work alongside her.
Ceremony
Kyle and Jordan’s ceremony was perfected with a unique and exquisite set up. From her dress, his uniform and their stunning floral arrangements — the intimacy of every detail was impossible to overlook! Their love is undeniable and was complemented so well by the beautiful scenery! I was honored to be apart of this day and absolutely loved witnessing every second!
Another STUNNING detail, sprinkled throughout this entire wedding and reception were these perfect floral arrangements! Amanda is the florist every couple needs on their bridal team!

Wedding photography is something I am exceptionally passionate about because it marks the beginning of what I hope is a lifelong partnership with my clients. The ultimate goal for me is to capture you on your wedding day, again as first time parents and then to document your family for years to come. I am so grateful to have been a part of this shoot and had an amazing day with a team of incredible vendors!
