Throughout my professional photography career I have spent countless hours seeking educational opportunities as well as opportunities to place to spotlight on my work. I am truly proud of the skills I possess behind the camera and the work that I produce. I hope this doesn’t come across as honery or prideful, because I can assure you I didn’t always feel confident in myself. Though I AM proud of where I am at as a photographer, I am never 100% satisfied because I am on a journey that doesn’t end in perfection. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t end at all if you ask me… I believe that there is always something to be learned and ways to grow professionally. My goal is to always be a photographer that my clients are proud of and to receive images that they are proud to have on display!
Photography is my creative outlet and where I turn to escape from reality! I cherish every second that I spend behind the camera. I reflect on my journey from the start of Ashley Dorton Photography and compare it to where I am now and I am so humbled at where it has taken me. I look forward to continuing to seize every chance to better myself, my skill and my brand through educational and spotlight opportunities and am so grateful to all of the clients past and present that have supported me and have allowed me to continue to do what I love to do!
Most recently, I have entered some of my work into a fun contest that spotlights the work of talented photographers all across the world! I am excited to announce my participation in this contest and would love it if you’d participate, too!
