Hopewell, VA | Couple’s Maternity Portrait Session
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Sheri and Aaron during their outdoor maternity session, and it was an absolute blast! This fun and cheerful couple is always a joy to work with, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture this special moment in their lives. From the moment we started shooting, it was clear that they were both excited and filled with anticipation for the arrival of their new bundle of joy.
The location we chose for the shoot was perfect, with beautiful natural scenery and plenty of space for them to move around and have fun. In fact, this location was the very spot where all of our history together began. We started with some classic poses, but it wasn’t long before they were both laughing and enjoying themselves, and we were able to capture some truly candid and beautiful moments. I always love working with Sheri and Aaron, and I’m so grateful to have been able to document their engagement, wedding, and now their maternity photos. It’s an honor to be able to capture these special moments in their lives, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for this amazing couple and their growing family.
In my experience as a photographer, I’ve come to realize just how important it is to capture maternity photos. Pregnancy is a truly special time in a woman’s life, and it’s a time that should be celebrated and cherished. Maternity photos not only serve as a beautiful reminder of this special time, but they also provide a way for expectant mothers to connect with their unborn child and reflect on the journey they’ve been on so far. These photos can also be a wonderful way to share the joy of pregnancy with loved ones, and they can be treasured keepsakes for both the mother and the child for years to come.
Here’s a look at some of my favorites from their maternity session!
As a photographer, I take great pride in being able to capture the beauty and essence of pregnancy through my photos. There’s something truly magical about seeing the glow of an expectant mother, the way her body curves and changes to accommodate new life, and the love and excitement that radiates from her.
It’s a privilege to be able to capture these moments and create images that will be cherished for a lifetime. I always strive to make my maternity sessions fun and comfortable, and I work closely with each mother to ensure that the photos reflect her unique personality and style. Sheri chose to invite her husband along, but many women choose to do these portraits solo! This is a decision that is totally up to you!
Sheri and Aaron are truly blessed when it comes to their photoshoots. They always seem to manifest the most beautiful sunsets and the perfect weather for their sessions. It’s as if the universe is conspiring to ensure that their photos are always epic and breathtaking. As a photographer, I can’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to capture such stunning moments, and I’m always amazed at how lucky they are when it comes to the weather and lighting.
